Basically, I came across this when searching for some funny political movies. I love this place and some of their creative videos. Now it seems you can put your own friends and family in there. I did my friends for this one, I'm working on getting all my family. It has been a real hit with family and friends.

First week of school just made this week fly by and now it's time for the weekend. Well, I'm off to Chicago (AGAIN) for a Coaches Track and Field Conference. My best friend will be their for her college so that's fun but the best part is definitely seeing ALAN WEBB! For those who don't know who he is it's not surprising because distance runners don't get much fame besides when they break records or Olympics. But this guy is probably one of a small few distance runners that will be USA's best bet for Olympics in distance events. He broke the high school record and 4 minute mile. He currently holds American record for the mile. I saw him last year at the Drake relays when he smashed the stadium record 3:51. It was a thing a beauty watching him run, every person in the stadium was on their feet cheering him on, it gave me chills afterwards (I'm such a runner freak XD ). My goal is to pull a Kuro stalkage and staplegun myself to him. XDDDDDDD No, I will be bring my new camera an hope to get some pictures.

When you go back to high school after you graduate from the place is really weird. This is my first full time teaching job and it just takes me back to being a freshman trying to find things/places. It surprises me that I handle the pressure pretty well. I woke up really early to take a shower, I usually don't take morning showers in the winter but I needed a good wake up call. Had everything I could think of in hand left to get to school about an hour early. I set everything up, went to get my attendance sheet to find that they do electronic which I didn't have a password set up yet since this was so last minute. I got through half the day having kids sign a sheet until I got my password to put entries in. It's really nice because you can do your grading and such the bad thing, well, I saw the grades from last semester which weren't very inspiring. In which I mean the majority had C or below. :[ Hopefully, I can turn that around with some tough love. :] Somehow when becoming a teacher I knew this was going to be the biggest challenge. It sucks to know that when a person fails, the teacher in a way also fails. I wish it wasn't like that but sometimes know matter how hard you try some people refuse to change their ways. You can only hope that you give it your all and try to do everything you can think of to inspire these people to at want to learn.

On an upper note the day was pretty fast, the staff was very helpful checking in to see how I was doing, if I needed any assistance with anything or had any problems. I have two weeks of stuff laid out for lectures so let's hope my skillz start paying off. ;)

So for Chistmas I got my very first DSLR camera!! I have been wanting one forever (been having some bad problems with Point and Shoots and fell in love with film SLR). It's a Pentax K100D Super and the sweet thing is that I didn't have to buy any lenses because my old Pentax K1000 that we had since I was little, but I can use the lenses on the new camera! I was totally in shock when I opened it, I started freaking out. ^______^ Now what have I been doing? Well, taking tons of pictures! Then after doing that I decided to take some fun pictures dealing with long exposure and light.

Funny that I always do this, I'm either a person who obsesses over things week after week changing from one thing to another. So I'm just going to say what I have been doing the last couple of months. Basically, it was student teaching, running, and social internet life. Yep, that's about it. Sad....

Good news! I HAVE A REAL FULL TIME JOB! Not only, teaching but coaching track too! ^___________^ I am so excited, I was in a rut trying to finish student teaching and looking for a job (not the best time in the middle of the winter). But I was hoping to find someone retiring early or maternity leave and I found a place. My cousin's high school! First it was a coaching job which I was kind of reluctant at first because I wanted a teaching job before coaching, but it was an assistant position and figured what the hey, I don't have to stay there for very long if something else pops up next year. I took it being the distance coach, then it was back to looking for real full time jobs. Less then a week later when I took the coaching job that I get a call from the superintendent telling me that there is a science job opening for the next term. Needless to say jumped on that and what do you know I land a full time teaching job! YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY! I will be teaching 9th graders which might be a challenge. I'm going in sometime next week to pick up the syllabus and book to try to get some material written down to prepare myself for the 2nd term. Now I can save up for things like trips, hobby addictions *cough*anime/manga, and you know future finances. ;) Needless to say December has been a good month. :D

Well, today was pretty interesting. I finally got a break from work to start seeing my teammates and did some intervals with the different groups. The team is HUGE this year and I might help them at camp next week up in Minnesota. I still have a project that needs to be finish if I go (well, I should get it done none the less ^^; ) Will have to update on a special project later. :)

Alright, I actually had a great work day today. Not only did I get some projects done. I'm almost done with my operation organize room. I got most of my stuff organized in my cool cubes (makes it almost worth the effort I put in to making the bad boys, may the future see how well they do). Plus, after 3 months of trying to think of a cool 30th anniversary gift for my parents I finally got an idea. It will be really great if I can get it the way I see in my head, hopefully, it will come out the way I want it. Other than that, I hope I can keep this productive streak going.

So I'm trying to be creative and making cool storage cubes to actually ORGANIZE my stuff. I'm sick of having all my stuff in 3 random bins. So I'm creating cubes from old cardboard boxes and some nice looking simple cloth. This easy little thing has turned into a MAJOR project. :(  The good news is that I have one cube to go. *hopefully, I don't want to make anymore cubes! AHHHHHH!* I have started to put some of my stuff in there and it seems that I have plenty of room, so one day everything will be organize and clean. One day........

I was lucky to see at least one day after the peak of the Persied meteor shower. I got my cameras all set and started to watch for the show. It didn't take long to see my first shooting star of the night. So I got my SLR camera ready and snapped about 12 photos with a 2-5 minute exposure. But for my stupid digital wasn't working right. It was the first time I was taking astroshots on it and couldn't figure out why I wasn't getting anything. Probably will have to do some more toying with it. I'm a little busy so I will probably try to get my SLR pictures developed this weekend haven't gotten a chance to go to the Dark room in a while so I have to if I even have enough chemicals first. ^^;

Now on top of everything else I'm still hooking up my sister's LED hula hoop. GAH! I have to finish before the weekend or she DESTROY me! ;_; Not really, but I hate to feel the wrath of my sister.

So not feeling so hot today, actually I think I'm really drained since I have been doing a lot of work, plus running in the hot weather probably didn't help. I was out playing with Sadie and she was trying to get her football and jump on my back. All of a sudden I'm starting to black out, I'm feeling really weak, barely even getting to the house. Open the door hit the couch and took 5 minutes to actually zone back in. The rest of the day I took as light as possible. I have no idea what happen but it was quite a scare. On to a more happier note, MEERKAT MANOR NEW SEASON is ON!

OK, before you laugh I thought it was stupid at first. But then you get into it, like each of those little guys have a personality of their own. How they try to survive, the what will they do next, gives quite a bit of entertainment. That and they are SO darn cute. <3 :P

Went to the lovely Olive Garden for lunch along with the lovely Chandi. Then got some Whitey's, got the usual Strawberry Berry Smoothie. Mmmmmmmm, specially for the 100% humidity and 90 degrees. XP

A log cabin does not do well with humidity so finally we dragged out the air conditioners *THANK YOU*, so finally I can cool off besides hiding in the basement.

And I got Annie's wedding pics back! She looks so beautiful, the first Quick Chick married. :)
